  Press Release Date: 21st August 2024 For Immediate Release Accra, Ghana — We  the Unposted Environmental Health Officers and Assistants Association of Ghana expresses our profound disappointment and frustration over the continuous neglect by the government in posting all qualified Environmental Health Officers and Assistants since 2021 till date which consists of four batches ( 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 respectively) with over two thousand graduates now. We have observed with dismay the recent clearance and posting of teachers and nurses. While we commend these initiatives, we cannot overlook the glaring omission of postings for Environmental Health Officers and Assistants, who play a crucial role in safeguarding the nation's public health. Despite numerous assurances and promises from the government, our members remain unemployed, leading to growing environmental health challenges that require immediate attention.
