Read more The Municipal chief executive for the Nkoranza South Municipal Hon Daniel Owuredu has  called on the people of the area to stay calm and count on the President promise of getting the police return to duty in the area. The police Service vacated post after the death of one Albert Donkor that also led to a bloody protest leading to the death of another one person. In may this year, protesters besieged the Nkoranza Police station and vandalized property and also discharged suspects who were in police custody. In line with this, the inspector general of police Akuffo Dampare visited the area to mediate peace between residents and the police. Subsequently, police withdrew their services in the area and residents had to travel to Techiman and other places to make official complains. Read more A very dynamic youth activist of the National Democratic Congress, Sufian King Bawre has indicated that he would men of credibility to cleanse the corrupt system imposed to the country by the Nana Addo/ Dr Bawumia led administration when the NDC lay hold  of power in 2024. He groaned the current state of hardship in the country, coupled with youth unemployment, mass corruption in the public institutions and many other negative effects holding the country presently. Sufian King Bawre is a member of the NDC since birth. He originates from the Bawku Central Constituency which is a notable NDC stronghold.
