Read more   President  John Dramani Mahama  has unveiled plans to organise two major national conferences aimed at addressing key challenges in Ghana’s governance and education sectors. Speaking at the 92nd Jalsa Salana of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana in Winneba on Thursday, January 9, he outlined initiatives to strengthen the justice system and improve the education landscape. Mr Mahama revealed plans to establish a committee to prepare for a National Constitutional Review Validation Conference. The conference will seek to reignite discussions on the stalled constitutional review process, build consensus on proposed amendments, and promote judicial independence. “To this end, the new NDC administration is resolutely committed to strengthening our justice system. UCC Sends Vital Message To All Students Of 3- Sem And 5-Sem Sandwich Degree Program. What Students Must Do Before 26th May.

The management of the university of cape coast(UCC) in charge of academic affairs has issued a vital message to all their 3-semester Top up and 5-Semester sandwich students offering bachelor’s degrees in Basic and secondary programs.

According to the management “All students are required to log into their students portal now to upload their passport picture for processing of student’s IDs card”.

According to the university this is to enable the large number of students who didn’t get their student’s IDs to get their ID cards.

The  exercise will also help to correct the mistake that occurs when Students were made to take their passport picture in their various Centre. 

The deadline for this exercise is 26th May, 2021.

I. JPEG photo format

ii. White background

ii. 640 pixels x 480 pixels dimension

Note: Changes cannot be made after  uploading your passport picture so every Student should ensure that the right thing is done before the deadline.

GES Resumes Teacher Recruitment After Resolving GTLE Issues

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the resumption of its teacher recruitment process after successfully addressing the concerns related to the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE). In a letter dated October 31, 2024, the Director-General of GES, Dr. Eric Nkansah, informed all Regional Directors of Education that the updated master list now reflects only qualified candidates. As a result, the recruitment process will recommence on November 7, 2024 , and is set to conclude by November 9, 2024 . The GES has instructed recruits, particularly those from the College of Education, to report to their respective regional education offices during this period with the following documents: original appointment letters and valid identification .
