~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In light of recent events in the Binduri constituency, Lawyer Issifu Mahamud, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Binduri, strongly condemns the burning of the vehicle belonging to the NPP by unknown gunmen.
Lawyer Mahamud during a radio interview on Sunshine FM this morning,categorically distanced the NDC from these violent acts, which have been unjustly attributed to the party by Abdulai Abanga, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate.
Abanga, who has now suddenly found his voice concerning the burning of an old vehicle. He further recounted the near-death escape of Mr. Martin Ariku, the NDC Chairman for Binduri, during an attack by gunmen in his home.
He emphasized that the NDC remains committed to peaceful political engagement and rejects any association with these violent acts. Lawyer Mahamud calls on the authorities to thoroughly investigate this incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
