NDC communication team member hails organizers of national day of prayer

A communication team member of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has commended Elvis Afriyie Ankrah and his team for an  impressive organization of the National Day of Prayer and Thanks giving event held on 1st July, 2025. The event aimed at bringing Ghanaians together in spiritual reflection, intercession, and gratitude for the nation's peace, stability, and shared destiny. Mr Ahmed Safian Bawre, a member of the NDC communication team, commended Elvis Ankrah and his team for their competent initiative, emphasizing that this event can serve as a catalyst to improve unity among Muslims, Christians and other faiths in Ghana. GES Resumes Teacher Recruitment After Resolving GTLE Issues

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the resumption of its teacher recruitment process after successfully addressing the concerns related to the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE). In a letter dated October 31, 2024, the Director-General of GES, Dr. Eric Nkansah, informed all Regional Directors of Education that the updated master list now reflects only qualified candidates. As a result, the recruitment process will recommence on November 7, 2024 , and is set to conclude by November 9, 2024 . The GES has instructed recruits, particularly those from the College of Education, to report to their respective regional education offices during this period with the following documents: original appointment letters and valid identification . We have observed with dismay the recent clearance and posting of teachers and nurses.
