As a renowned farmer and entrepreneur, he has successfully managed Ariku Farms for 16 years, supporting over 3,152 outgrowers with certified seeds and services. His farm has created numerous jobs, stimulated economic growth, and improved food security in the region.

As an Assembly Member for the Sakpari-Poyamire Electoral Area from 2019 to 2023, Ariku represented constituents in local governance, advocating for improved infrastructure, education, and healthcare. In addition to his public service, Ariku has accumulated extensive experience in management and administration. As Managing Director of Ariku Company Ltd, he directs operations in seed breeding, processing, and distribution, leads outgrower schemes, and oversees agrochemical waste disposal programs.


Ariku's commitment to community development is unparalleled. He has supported over 625 smallholder farmers in 23 communities, providing them with training, resources, and market access. His community development initiatives have improved livelihoods, empowered women, and enhanced the overall well-being of the people of Binduri.

GES Resumes Teacher Recruitment After Resolving GTLE Issues

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the resumption of its teacher recruitment process after successfully addressing the concerns related to the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE). In a letter dated October 31, 2024, the Director-General of GES, Dr. Eric Nkansah, informed all Regional Directors of Education that the updated master list now reflects only qualified candidates. As a result, the recruitment process will recommence on November 7, 2024 , and is set to conclude by November 9, 2024 . The GES has instructed recruits, particularly those from the College of Education, to report to their respective regional education offices during this period with the following documents: original appointment letters and valid identification .
