Content creator and self-styled prophet, Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, has been arraigned before the Adentan Circuit Court over allegations of false communication.

The court heard that Eshun is accused of making statements that allegedly caused public alarm, leading to his arrest and subsequent prosecution.

After listening to submissions from both the prosecution and the defence, the presiding judge ordered that Eshun be remanded in custody for a period of two weeks. The court also directed that he undergo a psychiatric evaluation at the Pantang Hospital to assess his mental state.

The outcome of the psychiatric assessment is expected to guide the court in determining the next steps in the case when proceedings resume.

Eshun, who is known on social media for his controversial prophetic claims and online content, will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
