The diplomatic breakthrough prompted the immediate cancellation of scheduled U.S. military strikes and bombings against Iranian targets. The administration attributed the de-escalation to high-level discussions reaching the absolute apex of Iranian leadership.



Key Framework and Regional Objectives

The proposed agreement outlines a strategic roadmap aimed at pausing the regional conflict and establishing a structured framework for long-term stabilization.

  • Ceasefire Extension: The MoU establishes a 60-day extension of the current ceasefire, providing a diplomatic window for both nations to negotiate highly contentious issues.
