Following the shocking revelations and widespread condemnation of the Bole Senior High School (Bole SHS) teacher-student scandal,  new developments are rapidly emerging,  heightening the urgency of the situation.  A new video has surfaced online showing the dismissed teacher making a desperate,  public plea for forgiveness,  even as educational authorities are intensifying pressure for his criminal prosecution. The "Apology" Video Surfaces In a video currently circulating widely across social media platforms,  the man identifies himself and confirms he was a teacher at Bole SHS.  He is seen sitting in a red plastic chair,  appearing agitated and pleading with both the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the general Ghanaian public.  He explicitly mentions that he has already been dismissed from his post following the initial scandal. The man,  clearly attempting to appeal to public mercy,  states that it was "never his intentio...

US Daytime Strikes Inside Iran Kill 7 Soldiers, Escalating War

TEHRAN / WASHINGTON — The direct confrontation between the United States and Iran has crossed a dangerous threshold. In a dramatic escalation, the U.S. military has unleashed a rare daytime air and naval campaign across southern Iran, directly striking a conventional military barracks and leaving seven regular Iranian soldiers dead.

The strikes—which bypassed regional proxy groups to hit sovereign Iranian territory and regular armed forces directly—mark a volatile turning point in a rapidly expanding war.

The Strike on Bampur

The most critical escalation of the daylight offensive occurred in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan. A barrage of thirteen U.S. missiles slammed into an army base housing the 388th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, located near the city of Bampur.

According to military reports, the damage was severe:

  • The Toll: Seven regular army soldiers—including both conscripts and career personnel—were killed in their quarters, while at least 13 others sustained injuries.

  • The Damage: Multiple military structures, including accommodation facilities, guard posts, and an officer guest house, were reduced to rubble.

  • The Strategic Shift: Previous rounds of engagement had primarily targeted regional proxy forces or paramilitary Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) units operating abroad. Directly targeting the regular Iranian Army (Artesh) inside domestic borders removes a long-standing diplomatic buffer.

A Heavy Daylight Campaign

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the strikes were part of an intensified, highly coordinated offensive. After a massive wave of overnight bombardments, the U.S. resumed striking targets during daylight—an unusual tactical move signaling a sharp increase in the tempo of the air campaign.

Using carrier-based aircraft, unmanned systems, and naval cruise missiles, CENTCOM stated the offensive is designed to dismantle radar installations, air defenses, and anti-ship missile sites. These assets have been actively used by Iranian forces to disrupt commercial shipping and attempt to block the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

However, the human cost is mounting. Iranian government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani reported that more than 30 people, including civilian casualties, have been killed in southern Iran during the recent waves of U.S. attacks.

The Blockade, Retaliation, and Global Fallout

The political and economic fallout has reverberated globally as Washington officially reimposed a strict naval blockade on Iranian ports.

U.S. President Donald Trump issued a stern warning, stating that strikes will continue to intensify. "You better make a deal, or you're not going to have anything left," Trump cautioned, warning that the U.S. military would begin targeting Iran's domestic power stations and major bridges if Tehran refuses to return to the negotiating table.

Tehran responded with immediate, multi-front defiance:

  • Asymmetric Reprisals: Within hours of the strikes, Iranian forces launched dozens of retaliatory missiles and drones targeting Western-hosted military facilities in Jordan (including Al-Azraq Air Base), Kuwait, and Bahrain.

  • Strait of Hormuz Threat: Iranian officials reiterated warnings that they would completely close the Strait of Hormuz—the vital choke point for 20% of global oil transit—if their ability to export energy is entirely blocked.

With the Pakistan-mediated peace memorandum effectively in ruins, both nations find themselves on an uncharted, highly volatile path. The transition from proxy skirmishes to direct state-on-state violence has eliminated previous rules of engagement, leaving the international community braced for what comes next.
