WAEC Releases Provisional BECE 2025 Results The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results for candidates who took the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for School Candidates. The results are now available for all candidates to check online. 🥳

This release marks a critical milestone for the over 600,000 students who sat for the examination in June. The provisional results allow candidates to review their performance and begin the process of school selection and placement into Senior High Schools and Technical Institutes. How to Check Your Results Candidates can access their results online using a results checker card. This can be purchased from various vendors, including online platforms and physical WAEC offices. NEWS IN: NTC Opens GTLE Portal For Registration. Here is How To Confirm Your Status Before You Register For The Exams

 


This follows after some candidates from the last examination found it difficult to register because their details weren’t sent by their various institutions.

How to check the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) confirmation status.

• Visit the Examination website of the NTC here: exams.ntc.gov.gh

• Select the Confirm status

• Enter your index number ( The index number of the tertiary school you completed)

• Tab on Confirm.

Kindly visit your institution if you get an error “You have not been confirmed by your school.

Kindly visit your awarding institution to rectify this issue and have your information uploaded unto the NTC portal“

The National Teaching Council is mandated by Education

Regulators Body Act 2020 (ACT 1023) to improve professional

standing and status of teachers and to ensure licensing and registration of teachers in Ghana.

The purpose of the Licensing Examination is to enable qualified teachers to acquire a professional licence and prepare teachers to meet the demands of the National Teachers Standards of possessing the minimum knowledge, skills, values and attitudes necessary to deliver effectively in schools

Eligibility for the Licensure Examination

1 All prospective candidates who hold the Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), Bachelor of Education (BEd) or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), MEd and are desirous of seeking employment as teachers. The candidates are to apply on-line al exams ntc gov.gh and complete the application form for the licensure examination. 2 All the above-mentioned candidates who completed in 2020 or before quality to write the examination at a Centre of their choice.

3. Candidates who wrote the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination but ware unsuccessful in some papers may register to re-sit

4. Fees for registration a) Fresh candidates are required to pay GH-280.00 to register for the examination

b) Candidates who are re-sitting are to pay GH 150,00 for one (1) Rest paper.

c) Candidates who are re-sitting all two (2) papers are to pay GH &250.00 d) Candidates who are re-sting all three (3) papers are to buy GH 280.00 Payment can be made at any branch of GCB Bank LTD and Prudential Bank Ltd nationwide ** Candidates must notify the bank as fresh

students, re-sitting one, two or three papers. Take Pin and Serial No. from the bank after payment

Log onto exams.ntc.gov.gh

Enter your user Serial no. and Pin

FIN in the teds and remember to upload you passport size photograph

NOTE: NTC will not accept any request for change of photography after the examination

– Review information provided and submit .

Print Summary of the inputs made

5. Candidates should keep their PIN and SERIAL NUMBERS secure after registration for the licensure examination for further use after the examination

Completed application forms should be received online not later than 14th April, 2021

NB. There will be no extension in time for registration beyond the 14th April, 2021 deadline

Date for Examination: 6th – 7th May, 2021
