NDC ELECTIONS, ABANGA SOLOMON (SULLEY BORGA) STANDS TALL IN THE MIDST OF FOUR OTHERS

As the major opposition party, NDC, is preparing to hold its Constituency executives elections in the various 275 constituencies across Ghana, many individuals are out to grab slots for themselves.

In the Upper East Region, there are 15 constituencies within that catchment area. That region is one of the strongholds of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The region gave NDC about fifteen seats out of sixteen parliamentary seats in the 2020 elections.

Our journalist took a trip to the Garu District/Constituency to ascertain the the level of campaign activities among party members over the upcoming elections within that area.

The notable position, the Chairmanship, is between incumbent Larry Thomas and an accountant with the presby health services Abugba. It is not very clear who has the upper hand in that category. Many pointed the incumbent whilst, others also tipped the debutant.

We took a keen look at the Constituency Youth Organizer's position. In the Garu Constituency, about five people are vying for that position. Our checks indicated one of them is outstanding among the rest, due to his numerous positive activities towards the youth of that area.

There is a clear indication that, Solomon Abanga popularly known as Sulley BORGA is outstanding. He is native of the area and an entrepreneur. Sulley BORGA as he is widely known have had the experience of travelling to Europe  but returned to continue his business in Ghana, that came the name Borga.

Speaking to the delegates on anonymity, they said they believe in the proactivity of Sulley US and his loyalty to the party members as well as the generality of the people of the area.

Meanwhile, the elections is slated for September 2022 across the country. It is said that, anyone who wins the youth organizer's position in area, automatically becomes the district youth employment coordinator in that arer when their party fortunately gains power in the general elections.
