2024 BECE Results, School Selection & Placement Guide

The 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has concluded, and students eagerly await news on marking progress, school selection, and result release dates. This guide provides the latest updates and helpful tips.

2024 BECE Marking

According to available information, the marking of BECE scripts began on August 10th and is expected to finish by August 24th, 2024. However, a series of internal processes by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) follow before results are released.

2024 BECE Results

The release of BECE result checkers is a strong indicator that WAEC is nearing the result release date. Here's how to check your results once available:



Checking Your 2024 BECE Results:

  • Visit the WAEC results portal: https://eresults.waecgh.org/
  • Enter your correct index number twice.
  • Select the appropriate exam type (BECE School or BECE Private).
  • Enter the result checker serial number and PIN number.
  • Complete the CAPTCHA verification.
  • Click "SUBMIT" and wait for your results.

Important Notes:

  • Incomplete results may occur if WAEC withholds scores for certain subjects.
  • Entering incorrect details can spoil the voucher, requiring a new one for further attempts.
