The police Service vacated post after the death of one Albert Donkor that also led to a bloody protest leading to the death of another one person.  *INTRODUCTION*  There are two Dams in Burkina Faso that has their tributaries joining in Ghana at Galaka -Gbeogo (confluence). These two Dams are Komepieng Dam and Bagre Dam respectively. These two Dams are tributaries of the White Volta River and provide water for the downstream countries like Ghana. Any time there is overflow or Spillage of these Dams the impact is on downstream countries.  There is a raising filling rate of these Dams as a result of torrential rains in the southern part of Burkina Faso hence a possible Spillage of the Bagre Dam. Below is an update on the water levels at both Dams.   1. *KOMEPIENGA DAM UPDATE*  The upstream level on Saturday,  August, 27 2022, was 175.22m.
